Thanks to our many years of experience, Egberts Rubber has a great deal of know-how in the field of silicone roller coverings. Continuous developments and research lead to new silicone mixtures / silicone rubber mixtures with specific properties and areas of application.

Speedycon: non-stick and temperature resistance

An example of this is our Speedycon silicone rubber. This Speedycon roller coating combines the advantages of a silicone roller, such as non-stick and temperature resistance (200 °C) with very good mechanical properties, such as tear resistance and abrasion resistance. As a result, such a Speedycon roller lasts many times longer than the silicone rollers currently used. The Speedycon roller coating is used successfully in various applications worldwide. Examples are the hotmelt transfer rollers for gluing machines. A standard hardness for this type of roller is approx. 70° to 80° Shore A. Speedycon rollers and roller coatings can be supplied from a hardness of 15° Shore A.

Our standard silicone rollers are available with a hardness of 13° Shore A. These rolls are used, for example, for special presses where a combination of resistance to high temperatures and non-stick properties is required. We can coat these rollers in several layers with different hardness. A soft base and harder top layer (s) are among our options. This applies to our Silicon / Speedycon coatings as well as to all of our other rubber qualities. This enables us to deliver customized products with specific properties requested by you as a customer.

Egberts Rubber is the supplier of high quality rubber roller coating. We dress and coat rollers with a variety of rubber grades depending on your needs and specifications.

Custom roll coating and profiling

With our modern machine park, which includes 7 CNC grinding machines, we are able to coat rollers with a diameter of up to 1,100 mm and a length of 6,000 mm. Almost every profile is conceivable and reproducible, assuming low tolerances. Rubber rollers can be delivered ready for installation if required. Here we take care of the assembly of the core, shafts, bearings, pillow blocks and packaging of the rubber rollers.

Very well suited for use in foil, paper, wood or food processing industries. Designed to make glue, paint and other chemicals slide off a roller surface more easily. Easier cleaning without the use of (aggressive) chemicals.

Egberts Rubber has successfully tested the non-stick treatment on rollers with rubber surfaces consisting of: NR, SBR, NBR, ECO, H-NBR, CSM, CPE, CR, EPDM, Silicone, SpeedyCon and also on polyurethane, metal and ceramic. The ER 8010 can also be used in contact with food and has FDA approval. The effective lifetime of the layer depends heavily on the application, the intensity of use and the material used (e.g. for cleaning). Due to the large number of surfaces and materials used in practice, it is not possible to provide exact overall results.
